The 2024 Academic Annual Meeting of Zhejiang Vibration Engineering Society and the 9th Second Council Meeting were successfully held in Lishui, Zhejiang

The 2024 Academic Annual Meeting of Zhejiang Vibration Engineering Society and the Ninth Second Council were successfully held at Beichen Hotel, Lishui International Convention and Exhibition Center, Lishui City on January 18, 2025. The meeting was hosted by Zhejiang Vibration Engineering Society and co-organized by Zhejiang Jingjiu Bearing Co., Ltd.

The opening ceremony of the conference was hosted by Tang Bo, Vice President of the Society, who also delivered a speech. After the opening ceremony, Duan Yuanfeng, Secretary General of the Society, made a comprehensive summary of the work in 2024 and put forward the key tasks for 2025. In 2024, the Society has achieved remarkable results in the organization of academic conferences, application of research projects, talent training, and cooperation and exchanges between the Society and enterprises.

The academic report session of this annual meeting was hosted by Wang Baisheng, Vice President of the Society. We specially invited Gu Xiwen, Assistant Researcher from Zhejiang University, to give an academic report entitled "Research on Early Warning Methods and Systems for Thermoacoustic Oscillations in Gas Turbine Combustion Chambers", Chang Zhen, Engineer from Hangzhou Bearing Testing and Research Center Co., Ltd., to give an academic report entitled "Analysis of Dynamic Performance Evolution Behavior of High-speed Precision Bearings" (online), and Professor Dong Linxi from the School of Electronic Information of Hangzhou Dianzi University to give an academic report entitled "MEMS Micro-Multi-Mechanical Quantity Sensing Elements and Intelligent Sensors".

During the meeting, the conference also organized experts and scholars to visit Zhejiang Jingjiu Bearing Co., Ltd. for a technical visit, to gain an in-depth understanding of the company's achievements in technological innovation and production practice, and to explore future cooperation opportunities in technological development and application.

During the meeting, the 9th Second Council Meeting of Zhejiang Vibration Engineering Society was successfully held under the chairmanship of Vice Chairman Li Xinglin. The council members held heated discussions on topics such as the development of the society, promotion of new technologies and talent training, and put forward suggestions for the future development of the society.

At the end of the meeting, Professor Yang Shixi, Chairman of the Society, made a summary speech. He fully affirmed the work achievements of the Society in 2024 and expressed his gratitude to all members for their hard work. Yang Shixi pointed out that the continuous progress of the vibration engineering discipline is inseparable from the wisdom and efforts of each scholar. The Society will continue to play a platform role and create more possibilities for the development of the industry. Yang Shixi emphasized that 2025 is a key year for the development of the Society. The Society will focus on innovation, strengthen the combination of academic research and industrial practice, and promote technological innovation and leapfrog development in the field of vibration engineering.
