The 2025 Science and Technology Task Force On-site Meeting will be held in Pan'an

On August 13, 2025, the on-site meeting of the 2025 Science and Technology Task Force was held in Pan'an. Zhou Tufa, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, made work arrangements. Responsible comrades from the Talent Division of the Department, the Party Committee of the Directly Affiliated Organs, representatives from the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Committee of the Provincial Government Organs and the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group stationed in the Provincial Department of Finance, as well as expert representatives from universities and research institutes of the Science and Technology Task Force and heads of science and technology management departments stationed in counties (cities, districts) attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, Pan'an County, Qingtian County, Songyang County, Yongjia County, and Longyou County respectively gave exchange speeches from the perspectives of the dispatching units of the Science and Technology Task Force, administrative team leaders, and expert team leaders. Since the pilot began, the Science and Technology Task Force has focused on the "one county, one industry" development of mountainous island counties, precisely matched innovation resources, and descended to tackle technical problems to help enterprises solve technical difficulties. It has built a bridge for cooperation between local areas and universities, research institutes, and leading enterprises. The "four beams and eight pillars" of the work have been increasingly improved, forging a new path for promoting high-quality development of mountainous island counties through technological innovation. So far, the province has dispatched three batches of 23 Science and Technology Task Forces. In 2024, they have visited and served over 1,000 enterprises, sorted out more than 700 technical demands, participated in over 250 various scientific and technological research projects, achieved over 150 technology transfer results, signed 344 projects, with a total contract amount of 167 million yuan. In 2025, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology will dispatch Science and Technology Task Forces to five mountainous island counties: Dongtou District, Taishun County, Jiangshan City, Shengsi County, and Suichang County, achieving full coverage of mountainous island counties.

The meeting pointed out that the importance of the Science and Technology Task Force in building an innovative Zhejiang and a high-quality development demonstration zone for common prosperity should be fully recognized from the perspective of talent flow and sharing. Greater efforts should be made to practice the new mission assigned by the General Secretary to the Zhejiang Science and Technology Task Force system, and to solidly promote the work of the Science and Technology Task Force to go deeper and more practical. Next, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology will continue to track and guide, lead the further gathering of innovation elements, and deepen this work from aspects such as strengthening precise selection and dispatch, multi-party coordinated linkage, and evaluating heroes based on actual performance.

Before the meeting, Zhou Tufa and his delegation visited Zhejiang Yifang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Shengxiao Medical Technology Co., Ltd., and together with the attending representatives toured Zhejiang Jibaichuan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Pan'an Gongfu Academy, and Zhejiang Zhepan Traditional Chinese Medicine Constitution and Disease Prevention Research Institute.
